Day 1
Your Best of Scotland Tour Begins
Start your tour with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in Edinburgh or Glasgow. We’ll travel north through the stunning landscapes of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Our first stop is a charming village on the banks of Loch Lomond, followed by a visit to the picturesque conservation village of Luss. As we continue to historic Glencoe, you’ll learn about the area’s fascinating past, including the clan massacres of the 1600s, while standing amidst its haunting beauty. After lunch in the Fort William area, capture photos at the foot of Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, before visiting the famous Harry Potter bridge, the Glenfinnan Viaduct. To finish off the day, enjoy an overnight stay on the outskirts of the Isle of Skye in cosy 3-star accommodation – ensuring you’re well-rested for the adventures ahead.
Day 2

Day 3
Discover Inverness, Loch Ness, and the Cairngorms
The third day of your escorted Best of Scotland tour sees us visiting Inverness, taking in stunning castles and sights along the way. Follow the banks of Loch Ness, where you can explore Urquhart Castle or try some ‘Nessie’ hunting from the shore. As we journey back to Edinburgh, we’ll pass the historic battlefield of Culloden, the site of the Jacobite forces’ defeat. Driving through the Cairngorm Mountains, we’ll stop in the picturesque Victorian town of Pitlochry, where you can enjoy a bite to eat and stretch your legs.
Day 4
Extended Skye Adventure or Harry Potter Experience
On your fourth day, you have the option to extend your exploration of Skye, visiting additional sites such as The Storr, The Quiraing, Lealt Falls, and meeting the famous Highland Cows (affectionately called ‘coos’ in Scotland). Alternatively, depending on the season (April – October), you can ride the Jacobite Express, also known as the Hogwarts Express* from the Harry Potter film series. This magical train journey is followed by a visit to Castle Stalker before we head back home and your escorted Best of Scotland tour comes to an end.
