Our family booked a 4 day tour with Uncover Scotland this past May. Our tour guide was Donnie, and he provided the very best of tours for us! We booked the Scotrail Diesel Train because the Jacobite train was unavailable for us. Everyone talks about how the train gives you majestic views, but honestly our tour with Donnie gave us better views and a much more magical experience! We felt very safe and relaxed with our tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and told us about Scotland as we toured and was so patient with us. Our family had such an amazing time! Communication with the owner as we customized our tour was seamless. Accommodations made for us were cozy and really enjoyable! We would definitely book again with Uncover Scotland Tours!

If you only have one day for a day trip to the Highlands, e.g. B. from Edinburgh, the private tour is perfect. Our guide Alex, a real Scot, took us to the best places and was able to tell and show us a lot about the history of the country but also about the Hollywood secrets of Harry Potter, James Bond and Outlander. The minibus was very comfortable. Everything was perfectly organized and absolutely professional. Thank you for this great day in the Scottish Highlands! 💙👍

We took the one day highlands tour from edinburgh and it was an unforgettable experience! Alex was a wonderful tour guide! He was very warm, happy, knowledgeable, and just as excited to show us around Scotland as we were to go on the tour. We embarked on a 1 day full-out tour with Alex as our guide. It was wonderful to see his smiling face waiting in the lobby. He knew our names and was equally as excited as us to get to the highlands. Alex chatted, shared knowledge and laughed along with us. The van was beautiful (heated seats!). We travelled and got to see so many breath taking magical spots (Glencoe, Hamish the cow, numerous lochs, battle grounds, ruins etc). Jordan the owner was prompt with responding and answered all questions big and small. You can tell the care and thought that has been put into this company.

If you’re someone who wants a personalized, private and memorable tour then this is for you. Embrace the Scottish weather, the rain and clouds just add to the magic and drama. If you’re on the fence, this is not a gentle nudge, it’s a push. Book it - you will not regret it.

My friend and I took the one day highlands tour with Alex. It was so great to be the only ones on the tour; we got so much more out of it. Alex was so knowledgeable and willing to share lots of stories and stopped wherever we wanted for photos. The door to door pick up and drop off was great as well. Uncover Scotland offers a truly unique experience - a private tour for small groups. Our group was 4 people (2 couples) explored the West Highlands and Isle of Skye in a comfortable Volvo XC90 4-wheeler with our tour guide Ricky. Ricky was an absolute delight and had an energetic positive attitude for the entire trip, and was not pressuring with time whatsoever in the sights we visited - even going as far as hiking / nature walking with us and ensuring everyone was safe through rough weather.

For small groups, especially with limited time in Scotland, the 2 day Glencoe and Isle of Skye tour is an absolute must! Thank you Uncover Scotland for a truly unique experience.
